It’s More Than Just a Game. It’s a Lifestyle.

The Justin Graham Gill Memorial Scholarship at Wingate University was

established in 2010 and more than $60,000.00 has been awarded to 23 scholarship

recipients. 

Today, the scholarship fund has grown to over $230,000 and is on the

way toward the $250,000 goal with the continued support and generous gifts from

family, friends and Wingate alumni.

Graham was known as a fun-loving, caring and engaging person. He was generous

with his friendship and always had a smile for everyone, his personality was

infectious. He loved Lacrosse and all his teammates at Wingate from many diverse

regions of the U.S. and Canada. Off the field, Graham utilized his leadership skills and

became President of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha (KA)which strengthened his

fulfillment of civic service and deep sense of brotherhood through Kappa Alpha (KA).

Justin truly brought out the very best in his brothers and friends.

Annually, this scholarship is awarded to students at Wingate University who are

active in the Greek community, demonstrate leadership skills and are engaged in

civic service. The Justin Graham Gill Memorial Scholarship celebrates the legacy of a

champion on and off the field.
